Privacy Notice

Last updated 2026-07-27 · Operator: ZOA LLC

This notice explains how ZOA LLC operates Global Threat Tracker, including its StraitWatch experience, and how the service handles information.

Information the service processes

  • Public reporting, dated economic observations, model snapshots, model-to-observation comparison records, and aggregate usage counts.
  • Short-lived signed identity and entitlement claims when a member accesses protected features.
  • Session-only referral attribution and browser-local preferences, research-notice acceptance for paid tools, and display settings.

Global Threat Tracker is designed not to store member names, email addresses, passwords, payment details, billing addresses, raw IP addresses, or user-entered scenario values in its application database or analytics store.

Service providers

Clerk processes identity and account information. Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes checkout, tax, receipts, subscription, and payment information. Their own privacy notices govern the information they receive. External publication providers process newsletter signups when that optional link is configured.

Operational logs and security

Web access logging is disabled at the application origin. Restricted operational metrics record aggregate request counts, response sizes, latency, errors, service health, and resource use. Security or infrastructure providers may process network metadata needed to deliver and protect the service.

Your choices and rights

You may use the public dashboard without an account. The Cookie choices control lets you accept, reject, customize, and later withdraw permission for optional browser storage. Rejecting optional storage does not block public content. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable aggregate analytics.

Browser storage categories

  • Necessary: security, requested authentication and checkout, legal attestation, and the record of your privacy choices.
  • Preferences: optional language, appearance, dashboard mode, local history, source-update settings, and locally saved scenarios. These remain on the device until removed by you or cleared by the browser.
  • Aggregate analytics: optional session-only campaign attribution and allowlisted product events. Analytics starts only after opt-in and stops when consent is withdrawn.

Global Threat Tracker does not use advertising trackers or sell browser activity. You can reopen Cookie choices at any time.

Send privacy requests to admin@strait-watch.com. We may direct provider-held identity or payment requests to the provider that controls that information.
